Just saying Hello really as we have just bought our Portafold at the beginning of the year and are looking forward using it.

Had to put a towbar on our 14 year old Vauxhall Corsa and it towed like a dream and is the exact width of the car, brilliant, now I have made a towbar (well not me) for my vintage VW Split Screen Van, and looking forward to touring to VW Shows and showing the Portafold.

Can anybody tell us what year its from.
It's got the square "A"-frame and chassis # 73273

Thanks.

Alex.

It's a 1973 model.

The most popular year according to the people who have contacted me so far!

Hi Alex,
Your camper looks lovely in mauve. As well as the wolesley hornet i own, i also have a ford Anglia which i have owned for nearly 16 years now and that is mauve with a pearl coat roof so, it's good to know other people love the same colour :D.I don't tow our portafold behind either of my cars.

Thanks.

Was told when we bought it that the portafold came from the early 60's, but hey 1973 will do for me... :)

Mauve, you hit the nail on its head, people been telling me its pink, and I strongly disagree. ;)

Will be a strange exerience towing the Portafold behind the Camper, as its not going fast as it is, but hupfully we'll be okay.

Cheers. 8)
