Re: Spare wheel attach ?
I was looking into this at last years national gathering as I find it a pain keep lifting the spare in & out when you are using the van (not to mention it can get messy if the ground is muddy) there are no brackets on the vans it has to be fabricated from scratch, ive seen them with the wheel facing both ways (depending on how the bracket is fabricated) i'm planning on doing this on mine in the near future I will try to post some pictures.70sfreak wrote:How do you attach the spare on the frame ?

Something I forgot to feature in the restoration thread. I'll sort some pictures and add them to the thread. Steve, are you guys going to the Victory Wheelers event at the weekend?

Re: Spare wheel attach ?
Sorry I’ve taken so long, stuff going on. Anyway, some photos of our spare wheel bracket. Just fabricated a bracket that fits our wheel/tyre combination and bolts onto the front legs of the chassis. The wheel is secured with one wheel nut through the wheel and onto a stud on the bracket.
