Hello all, is anybody going to the world record attempt at Stapleford next weekend? I hope to be there Friday afternoon, look for a blue/white Portafold with matching car. Lets have a pork pie and a pint.

Talking to the organiser Nich, I've been given a large stand where all the Portafolds, Ansfolds (and apparently a Mini-Motel) are all going to be directed to pitch up, so hopefully it should be easy for us all to find each other.

We may need name badges though with our forum names on...

Hello everyone,just want to wish everyone going to Stapleford park a good weekend,wanted to come but are booked elsewhere,if a miracle can happen,we might be able to arrive sunday evening, it's take things as they unfold,are looking forwards to meeting other portafolds and their owners,my head it going around in circles,as to how can we fit both venues in,and our options open lol,

Not able to bring the Citroën this time as have been having fuel & running problems - over a litre of dirty water and half a punnet of bluberries found in the petrol tank last weekend!

Have we all made our Portafold shaped cakes or are we baking one in the vans??

Just wanted to thank everyone I met at Stapleford Miniature Railway for making me welcome. I just wish I could have camped for the weekend but as I only found out about this event at short notice and I haven't as yet got my Portafold kitted out for this. By the way, I was the tall bloke with the green Peugeot 306.
