Hello everyone!
A quick snap of my Portafold, now repaired and resprayed to match my Mini. The Mini is a 1275 automatic and seems to tow the Portafold pretty well - certainly "round the block"

Re: Matching Mini and Portafold
Finally got away in the Portafold. The Mini pulled it well; 60 mph up the M1 and 35mpg (remarkably) even with the auto box. I only get 37mpg normally.
Lots of smiles on the site in the Peak District. I found that one hinge each side on the side walls had broken but nothing fell out or off so just another job for the weekend.

Re: Matching Mini and Portafold
Well, shiver me timbers, I'm beginning to look like a self publicist!
It's a long story but my Mini and Portafold will appear in the January printed issue of Practical Caravan magazine. Worse than that, they're in the on-line version already including the dodgy blazer I wore at the International Gathering.

I hope the printed version will have a few more pictures from the Gathering as Matthew made a load available and the mag were interested in The Gathering. Obviously.

Well, the self publicity marches on; my Portafold is in the Jan issue (3rd December) of Practical Caravan.
