I recently covered a garage roof with this rubber membrane. I hadn't considered it for the Portafold but realise that the 2metre width cut into strips and glued would provide the ultimate seal at the joints and awning seals. I thought you might be interested. They suggest it has a life up to fifty years. http://www.rubberroofs.co.uk/

Thanks, I'll look into that. What's on there at the moment is working well, but I can't see it lasting for ever.

It's great to see that after the small hiccup of pictures going missing, they're all back now, this thread is now complete again. Here's hoping that it will be of some use and help for those setting out to do the same, or similar, repairs on their new, or old, projects (Portafolds and Ansfolds). Ours has been in the hands of new owners for a few years now, and they are still enjoying it.
