Check this fantastic film out. I think this might be the only video showing a Portafold actually being demonstrated/sold by the makers:

Although British Pathé think it's called a Portasold...
By November 1967 'Plastics (Fareham) Ltd.' had bought the rights to build them, so it must be their stand at the Caravan Exhibition, Earls Court.

That's fabulous, why isn't mine as easy to put up as that??? Probably something to do with the extra tonne of fibreglass I put on the roof....lol

Also this video, which I think is from the same show, the International Caravan Exhibition at Earls Court in November 1967.

Great videos - you've got to love the 60's.

The Jon Pertwee video from 1972 racing to collapse the caravan:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/archive/pertwees_ ... an/zkvp6v4
and again he returned in 1973 to help sell them (not much footage and no audio of his voice - 21 seconds in):

And likely the earliest video of a Portafold from the 25th September 1961 (31 seconds in):
http://www.aparchive.com/metadata/HOMES ... +on+wheels
Notice the Mini-Motel beside it and the possibility of how the Portafold got its' name from the front window design (I did wonder if this same Portafold was also the rare 3-windowed Portafold thats been on the forums before, modified for better usability).

If we could edit posts after a longer duration, I'd remove that as looking back now via YouTube with its' ability to set the playback speed slower I see I was mistaken.
