Hello Portafold & Ansfold enthusiasts,

We now have an update on Retro Festival 2026 ‘a tribute to Matthew our friend’ booking details.

This year it falls on the weekend of the 7th to the 9th of August, at the same great location of Retro Festival, held at the Newbury showground.

You can now arrive from 9am on 6th August Thursday morning and stay right through to lunchtime on 10th August Monday.

So that’s now four nights camping and entertainment for two adults for just £100. To confirm, that’s two adults and two children, your tow car (classic or modern), your Portafold or Ansfold, camping from Thursday to Monday, your weekends entertainment on three live stages, all for £100.

There is now a change from previous years, and you will need to book direct on the Retrofestival website, but you will need a code to access the £100 Portafold/Ansfold only booking deal. As you are aware we do not have access to Matthew’s phone or Laptop so need to gather information to contact you with further details with the tribute we intend to arrange for Matthew.

For those of you who have paid Matthew already can you please email as above along with the date and amount paid so we can match your payment and provide your information to the Retro team so you will receive tickets directly.

Our private loos, or the 'toilet club', is just £9 per person for the whole long weekend. Children under 13 are free, this payment will be taken in cash on your arrival. We realise some people have already paid directly and we are aware who you are.

We will bring any Portafold Shop stock available for everyone to peruse, so bring your pocket money.
