Hello Mathew,

Thanks for that, can you confirm if there are two seals, one on the base and one on the bottom of the side panels, I don't want to put two on incase it is too thick and causes damage to the hinges.

Rubber trim

Hello all, At long last my Portafold is about to be painted, however it is two years since I took it apart and I now have a problem with the rubber seals. I know that there is a U shaped piece of rubber on each end where it meets the side, approximately 1 metre and a bit long. There is a rubber stri...

Hello John,

Thanks for all your trouble I will order some paint and post a picture when it is done.

Did you paint your van yourself, and, if so, was it easy??

Regards, Fraser.

Hello,

Very impressed with your storage method! Can you tell me what colour your Portafold has been painted, I am about to paint mine and am unsure of which colour to paint it, yours looks just right.

Regards, Fraser.

Hello all, Just finished renewing my brakes and shock absorbers on my van. I decided to take the body off the chassis after all and completely reconditioned everything when it was off. For future reference the brakes are from an Austin A35, however those from an early Morris Minor will fit with a li...

Awnings

Hello all, Not having any luck in locating an original awning, has anyone out there bought a new style awning for their van. I have had a look at some of the "porch style" and motor caravan style awnings but am not sure if any of them would fit the Portafold. Any assistance would be appreciated, or ...

Hello Neil,

Thanks for the advice, did you fit the Mini hubs to your van or did you buy it like that?

If you fitted them, how easy a job is it?

Brakes

Hello all, It would appear from looking at the maintenance section of the website that my Portafold is fitted with Lockheed brakes although the wheel hub is completely different from that shown in the maintenance instructions. Can anyone tell me what the brake shoes are from, are they Mini or someth...
