Hi fellow Portafold owners!

My wife & I have just bought our first Portafold, and I must say, that we are delighted. It gives us just what we need,a dry-ish (It'll get better once the holes are sorted!) sleeping & living space, without all of the usual paraphernalia associated with modern caravans.

We bought our new 'baby' from eBay( 280340034591 ), and now that I've had an opportunity to look closely at the amount of work required, I'm quietly pleased that I'm retired & can give it the time & effort it will need to become waterproof and usable! So much filling and fibreglassing, so little time!

After reading your entries on this forum, we are so pleased that there may be someone to turn to when scratching my head & trying to sort out the list of 'problems' with our Portafold. We just can't wait for the sun to shine, so we can christen our new 'baby' :D
So many repairs, so little time!

Hi and welcome!

I got my Ansfold a few years ago but have not had much time to do what needs to be done to bring her up to scratch. This summer I hope to have a little more time to spend on tackling all that needs to be done.

I am very optimistic about your username! If you are a fibreglass expert then I need as many pointers about repairs as I can get :D

Best wishes

Knotty
