How to store a Portafold on it's side!!

Postby pollythevan » Mon, 06 Oct 2008, 1:04 pm

I thought this might be useful for any van owners short of garage space

I have been storing our Portafold on its side for a few years with no damage or problems ( As long as you remember to pack around all the items in the storage lockers!!!)

Hello,

Very impressed with your storage method! Can you tell me what colour your Portafold has been painted, I am about to paint mine and am unsure of which colour to paint it, yours looks just right.

Regards, Fraser.

Hello John,

Thanks for all your trouble I will order some paint and post a picture when it is done.

Did you paint your van yourself, and, if so, was it easy??

Regards, Fraser.

Hi Fraser,

Sorry no I didn't paint my van.

It had just been painted by the previous owner before I bought it and he had a 1/4 tin of paint left over which he gave me for any touch-up's needed, hence how I knew the paint code.

Anyway, good luck with the paint job and I look forward to seeing the photo's.

Regards

John
