Rare Mini-Motel on eBay - NOW SOLD

Post by Admin » Sat, 14 Jun 2008, 10:28 am

You don't see this everyday, a Mini-Motel (the predecessor to the Portafold and Ansfold) on eBay. It needs some work but it's as rare as hens teeth:

mini motel

Post by Snorbs » Tue, 17 Jun 2008, 5:05 pm

Hi Matthew,
I would love to buy the mini motel but, i have run out of space and would not have the time to restore it how it deserves to be done.
Cross fingers it goes to a good home and i will keep an eye out at the shows for it and let you know if i see it and take some photos to post on your site :)

Alex,

To see just how much smaller they are, check out the pair Paul has in his garden:

I'm sure there'll be another popping up on Ebay, have an email sent to you from Ebay with your favourite searches and you'll find out when someone puts one on Ebay.

Youtube Video

Post by Snorbs » Sun, 22 Jun 2008, 5:27 pm

Hi,

I've just shown a friend the youtube video and while i was watching it again i noticed that the sides of the Mini Motel when they were erected are not one solid side. The sides were in fact hinged in the middle and when the woman pulled the end section it folded out then sloted down to close and then you had a end with a door in it.

Have a look at the film you will see what i mean? :?

I have never seen one like it. I would love to know does anyone own a Mini-Motel like in the film? :)
