I’ve now identified what I believe to be the best external badge I can get manufactured. They’re printed onto thin aluminium and then laminated which will give not only a very accurate reproduction of the original badge but a very hard-wearing and long lasting badge which should stand the test of time even if your caravan is left outside for extended periods of time.

Needless to say, the forum doesn’t have a bank account or a credit card to buy stock of any items, so, as I’ll be paying for the complete order up-front myself, I’m now requesting that anyone who would like to purchase one (or two, one for each end) of the badges, to pay in advance so my credit card doesn’t take such a battering.

The badges will cost £19.99 each, I will place the order for them in the next couple of weeks and they will be available by the beginning of July and can be collected at the National Gathering if required.

Sorry Matthew, unfortunately, not for me, we have a lot of expense at the moment.

Thank you for the hard work though!

All the best, Jan.

They're here!
New Portafold Badge.jpg
These aren't just stickers, these are very thin metal plaques, reverse printed so they have a perfectly flat front and should provide a very long-lasting bright colourful badge for the roof of your Portafold for many years to come. In fact, if treated well they should outlast all of us!

They are exactly the same size as the original and have an external grade adhesive backing.

The picture above shows the badge with its protective plastic covering still on, so the finished article looks better than the picture.

Cost per badge £20.00
Postage and Packing £2.50

Email me to get your badge(s) in time for the summer shows! Use the 'Contact portafold.co.uk' link above.

Do you know what kind of original badges the Ansfolds had?
Laura,

To be honest, I'm not sure if they had badges on them. I haven't seen any, yet...

My Ansfold is also devoid of any markings whatsoever and to save everybody wondering what it is I am tempted to ask my friend who makes vinyl signs to do a small vinyl sign - is it just black and white including the little logo at the end? As a guide, what size are the Portafold badges please :?:
Dave

The black and white 'cubes' logo is the only thing I've seen for the Ansfold. The Portafold badges are 159mm by 78mm, but the Ansfold cubes obviously don't fit into that size and it's long and thin as opposed to the Portafold badge being quite oblong shaped.
