How many lockers has yours?

How many lockers has yours?

Post by txfsealord » Wed, 28 Jan 2009, 7:34 pm

Hi all, I dunno whether this is the right forum for this one........

My mate's Ansfold, referred to on the thread about original wheels, has a different locker layout inside. There's no front centre locker at all, just a crossmember moulded into the fibreglass, the height of the lockers & about 6 or 7" long, i.e. protruding into the footwell by that much. Also, the front window is larger than the side ones, & larger than my front window.

The extra footwell length looks most useful, allowing 2 to sit at the table in real comfort without encroaching on the cooking-area in the nearside-rear corner & allowing a decently-solid mounting for the table on the front panel.

Of course, you lose locker space, always at a premium......

Our Ansfolds are just 8 chassis nos. apart! Small world or something?

I hope he'll turn up on here soon, he'll probably be peeved that I've written all about his 'van before he got a chance to do so. I wanted to ask if anyone else had this locker arrangement though. Matt says he's heard of it but I got the impression he hadn't actually seen one.

Correct, never seen one in the flesh. Although the one I've heard of in the past may turn out to be the same one your friend has just bought. Couldn't say for sure.
