We have just bought our Portafold and are getting it refurbished. Has anyone found a supplier for all the rubbers ie windows/walls/roof etc?

Hi Jeff & Anne,

I found this company listed in an old-car directory:

http://www.sealsdirect.co.uk

I saved it for the large choice of all things caravan, as well as car. I've not actually got around to using them yet, so if you do, please let me know how you get on!

I've just started investigating these parts and I've started with these two companies:

Woolies - Have been around for years and I've bought loads from them in the past.

Phoenix Supplies - Have stands at plenty of shows around the country and have a huge range of rubbers etc.

Hopefully I'll have a full list of trim before the summer is out.

have just started renovating a portafold.
it needs everything, i mean everything.
it is now completely stripped down to whats left of the nuts and bolts.
it would be great if anyone has pics of the various seals for the van as there are no originals on this van.
the seals have been replaced over the years with whatever could be glued on.
i really need some help here :wtf:
i am trying to work out how the seal/draught exclusion strip should be fitted between the walls and the base???
got some wall to base hinges on ironmongeryonline £2 PER PAIR
getting window catches from perthshire as advised on this website £5.50 pair (knobs are black now!)
chrome outer wall handles £3.50 each from choiceful on net
can anyone advise if there should be a metal striker plate with the clavelly catches that hold the side wlls to the front and rear walls or does the catch simply rub against the fibreglass?
any help much appreciated
now
wheres me grinder?

Glad I'm not the only one about to start a renovation. Thanks for the hints on the bits that you have already aquired. As soon as I get mine home (about two weeks) and get it up I will have a better idea of what is has and hasn't got. Will post some pics of the bits you are looking for if mine has got them.

I now have the door window rubbers and the side-wall/roof sealing foam strips in the shop:
