I spoke to a really helpful man in B&Q who happened to own fibre-glass boats, he said he also had terrible condensation problems with them, which he had vastly improved by using a type of polystyrene wallpaper. You fix it on with waterproof PVA (that doesn't require air to cure). I'm convinced so I am going to give it a go...I'll let you know what happens. I have a nice type of paper, with a pebbled effect.... He said to be sure to make sure the ceiling was clean and had been 'de fungicided' before putting the paper/poly on it. You can then paint the paper with any bathroom type of silk paint, that is watersoluble.
