Forum member Jen (Misty Meg) is selling her 1971 Portafold. She's in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset.

It was part of the UK Classic Caravan record at Stapleford in August 2010: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=362&p=1470#p1470

Jen says:
"It's in usable condition - as I've been using it, although not pretty to look at inside. I have stripped the inside back as the previous owner had boarded it out (very 70's and not good on the weight side) and I was planning to decorate it but haven't got round to it! All the hard work has been done though.

The outside is all pretty clean and the brakes and tyres are all good as they were new when I bought it and have only used it for two summers, so about 4-5 trips out. Has the spare wheel (also with a new tyre) and comes with the original awning which I understand is quite rare. Although when I used it a couple of places tore very slightly due to the age of the material, so although it can still be used I did plan to use it as a template to make up another one.

I do know a good supplier of foam when the buyer comes to trim it out.

If you are happy to put a price on the site I'm looking for £750, as only cosmetic attention required. Please give my mobile number - xxxxx xxxxxx"
