I use a gazebo outside the door and there was no problem putting that up last year so a small awning should be fine.

Except ..... for the wind  . Last year it was very windy (no rain though).

Looking forward to seeing you there.

I'm planning to arrive Friday evening.

Dave.

We're aiming to arrive Friday lunchtime-ish. And Knotty, when you see the state of the outside of our Ansfold, well, it's rough! I've had no time at all on it yet, so don't feel you'll be the only "banger" Ansfold on site.

I'm afraid I won't be able to get there till Saturday afternoon/evening so I'm going to have to rely on you guys to find us a good area to pitch in.

Hi all, it was splendid meeting so many of you at Wroughton! Shame the weather wasn't kinder, guess we can't have everything. I wish I'd paid more attention to Dave's wind-warning, I'd have followed one chap's example & tethered the 'van to the ground! Perhaps there are advantages in having (probably) the heaviest 'van. We stayed to the bitter end, packing up Monday morning in bright sunshine, still very windy though.

Must try & get the interior finished before the next event.........
