Bargain wheels & tyres!

Hi Guys & Girls,
You may have missed it, but I've posted in the 'Parts & Accessories Found' section, as to how we managed to purchase two silver enamelled steel wheels ( 3.50B x 10H2 ), plus new Marshall 145/80R10 four ply steel belted radial tyres for the total sum of £72-00 vat included. An absolute bargain, when you consider our local tyre depot quoted us in excess of £100-00.
If you dare to mention 10" tyres, it's a case of tooth sucking & head shaking, and mumbled conversations about 'specialist stuff, vintage vehicles only!

A good price.

Thinking laterally (quite legal, even for boring olde f**rts like me), 10" mini wheels were more than a bit popular on trailers. A surf of some of the trailer parts websites suggests that they are still rather popular and new 10" after-market steel wheels, with a 23mm offset, are readily available, with/without tyres for roughly the same price. Being produced for trailers there is no provision in the centre pressing for a hub-cap of course.
