Having sorted out my window problems I now am in the deep wotsit for a couple of roof clips, the ones that fit on top of the ends, anyone got any bright ideas as to where I might get some or how to recon my existing clips???

Hi Happy Jack, I saw a post by someone on the Old Classic Car forum who was selling portafold wall/roof clips. I'll see if I can find it again as he may have want you want.
What is wrong with your clips?

They're an item I've not been able to find yet. So if you do find any replacement ones can you give me the company who are selling them?

This was the post I saw Matthew,

but they are probably the gravelly fasteners and secondhand?

Yeah, they're the gravelly fasteners that hold the side walls up, rather than the clips that hold the roof on. The roof clips are big jaw like things. I'm not sure where to even look for them as I don't know what else they can be used for.

Thank you for your replies, I have not yet found a source of supply but the search goes on. The problem with two of my existing clips is the spring which is either seized or broken. I probably will finish up stripping them down and seeing if I can do a suitable repair. Should I find a source of supply I will of course let you know.

Looking on Ebay I saw spring clips made in nylon which look promising. I entered Spring Catches in All Catagories and up popped a company called Automech. Have a look and see what you think??

I can't see anything that might suit. They're quite meaty metal jaws.
