Sorry, I've been laid up for a few days.

The window pelmets are a bit of an odd one. I've seen models without them dated as late as 1972. But the flat style only seem to have been used for two years from 1971 to 72. The bulged versions can be on models anywhere from 1968 through to 1975. So really there's no rhyme or reason to them, they're a very random fitment which might have been an option given to the customer at the factory. They don't feature on the optional extras list though.

My 78 Ansfold is fitted with exterior pelmets, I thought they were a standard fitment.

By the time of the Ansfolds I think they were standard fitment, all the surveys I have carried out on Ansfolds have them with 'bulged' pelmets.
