Hello txfsealord sorry it's taken so long to reply,
yes it was us at the nationals with the blue pickup. That's actually my dads, mine was the blue two door next to it.

Also Mr alexdundee we will have to meet some time since we only live about three miles from each other, it would be great to have a look at another model of Portafold.

When finished , will tow behind a 1944 Humber heavy utility, or a boring but reliable carina estate for really bad days!!!

C'mon Anorakite, good as that is.......

I'm looking forward to seeing the Annie behind the half-tracked armoured personnel carrier!

Yo Steve,

Interesting to put it behind the halftrack but I would need to find some former friend idiot to manufacture a revised tow bar set up and I am not sure whether Annie would appreciate bar grip tyres without some serious wheel arch extensions, which of course would need to be of the folding variety!!! OK pass me the drink.

How about a survey of the first drink a Portafold/Ansfold owner consumes having set the van up on site???

Towing vehicles

It looks like we have a small group of Portafolds and Ansfolds within spitting distance! Worthing, Pulborough and Storrington. It must be something in the air drawing them down to the south downs.

Hi Tigermart,

looks like West Sussex is becoming the foldaway county! Must be like Salmon, the vans are returning to their birthplace near the south coast..!!!

A 5ltr V8 as tow car. Hmmmm with that power to weight ratio its a good job you have a Portafold and not an Ansfold, at least the wings on your van roof will give some directional stability as take off speed approaches......sounds fun!!!
