Hi all, I've decided that I'm not going to get time to finish my early tubular chassis Portafold. I am guessing the year is around 1959 but it is a guess. The chassis number ends in 69 but I am sure that is too late for the tubular chassis. The roof was refurbished and resprayed by a local car body ...

Portafold Awning
I have a non-standard awning for a Portafold. I haven't actually put it up as the van needed a fairly major restoration (mainly the roof) and this meant removing the connecting brackets etc. I'll see if it will erect free standing and take some pictures, also see if there is a make on it.

In reference to normal gloss paint, I have so far spent about 10 hours trying to get it off the roof of my Portafold. Hi there, just joined the site. I tow mine with a 1970 Bond Equipe Coupe. Tows very well and you wouldn't know it was there if it didn't block out most of the back window
