I can't help with dating your van I'm afraid, but I too am trying to date my Portafold.
I do have the chassis number still don't know how to find out how old it is.
The previous owner said he thought it was a 1961 model, but I have no proof.
Can anyone help?

Gold quilting
I purchased my Portafold in May and am hastily getting it usable for the summer. Over the winter I would like to carry out a full(ish) restoration on it. I have been looking around for the bits I will need. I have tracked down most things, paint, cushions, handles etc but have failed to find any one...
