Re: Cushions, how many??
We seem to have 4 long cushions (some with two small squares in a double cover, and 3 small squares. Only the small ones clip under the hooks on the walls, the long ones are too short, so wont stay in place when folding the sides down. It looks like they were previously laid out all as base cushions...

Cushions, how many??
How many should I have?
We seem to have some long ones and some short ones. Some have obviously been renewed as the green foam (light to carry) looks quite new, and when we removed the covers off others (heavy ones) they have the original blue covers fitted.
Any advice welcome.
thanks
Dan

Re: Paint
I've rubbed mine down using 400 grade wet and dry paper, and then used Crown X-treme Primer (from a Crown Decorators Store). This sticks like the proverbial to GRP and makes a good base for a top coat. The top coat on the roof has been painted using Dulux Weathershield Gloss which I had matched to m...

Re: 1972 Portafold on FreeAds
I understand that this van now has a new home, and is in Hampshire too.
When we get a chance to get our 3 vans together in the Victory Wheelers, we will post up some pictures for you.
regards

What colours were Portafolds available in new?
Looking through the various owners photos, it seems most appear to be white, with a rare blue van also.
i have been rubbing down the roof on mine and it is definately a pale yellow colour, which got me thinking what colours were available new?
Any ideas?
cheers

Re: 1974 Portafold For Sale
Now with it's new owner, me!
Great condition and well looked after by its previous owner. Only needs a bit of fettling to put my own mark on it, and a bit of paint to match my car, which luckily is pale yellow and white, so close to the original gelcoat colour.
