Thanks for that Steve - just what I was looking for.

Good point about accessing the storage areas - I hadn't thought of that. Perhaps the original combination would be good.

Also what depth of cushion - I was guessing 5" thick. Anyone know what the originals were?

Thanks :D

Which cushion configuration?

I'm currently pricing up cushion foam as my Ansfold was totally empty when I got her. I am a bit  at the price (almost more than I paid for the Ansfold herself!) I am dithering over which sizes to go for. The original configuration of large cushions plus smaller ones looks a bit fiddly but is...

Wroughton 2008 - anyone here going?

I know this should really be in the events section but I thought more people would see it here. Never been before but having looked at the website it looks great. I am tempted by the prospect of the hog roast as well as all those great old cars :D Is anyone here going? What is the form - do you just...

Fibreglass repairs

Well the time has come to tackle to holes in the bodywork but before I start any tips or do's and don'ts out there? I have the following repairs to tackle; * Small split in wall where she wasn't folded properly (not me, honest  ) * Lots of cracks and splits and flaky areas around the roof edge ...

Now that the forum is up and running again I thought I would update you on my hubcap search. Sadly the set of mini ones I won on Ebay did not fit at all - far, far too shallow but I spotted some Eriba Puck ones for 10" wheels and emailed the seller (classicxcarXspares - v helpful) and he said he may...

Hooray - you're back :D This has made me ridiculously happy. I've had the site in my bookmarks toolbar and kept checking back in regularly - so good to see you back! I have so many questions - the Ansfold has been sitting on the drive whilst I was sidetracked by another project (the arrival of No. 4...

Well thanks to you all, Gordon, Petman and Steve. I did win the hubcaps so a big thank you for pointing them out :D I have no idea if they will fit but when they arrive I'll have a go and let you know how I get on. I think we have a couple of spare mini wheels in the garage and they are slightly dif...

Thanks all for the invaluable information. It is the depth that I'm worried about. I saw a set of 4 for about £30 on Ebay but didn't want to waste my money if they were too shallow. Petman - thanks for the top tip on Ebay. I think I'll take a punt on them and if they fit then I'll offer up the other...
