Interesting I tow mine with a 1256 Vauxhall Viva but when we load the van up it struggles with the extra weight, perhaps it needs an overhaul!!

Great minds think alike! I did exactly the same to my roof it was so much easier filling in the fins when I applied the foam headlining, never thought about the expanding foam though! You can see it on "first outing after rebuild thread" in the owners gallery.

I think that sometimes we sell ourselves short with our Portafolds bearing in mind what some small caravans go for I think a good restored Portafold must be worth between £1000 and £1500. I was also lucky to get mine for a good price but had to do everything to it so that should be reflected in the ...
